1. The reading for this week talked about selfless acts and how they inspire others. Has anyone at the nursing home (staff / family / other visitors) or outside the nursing home (your family/friends) taken notice of your visits? If so, how did they react?

My roommates assumed I was volunteering at the nursing home to get credit for something and when they found out it wasn't required of me they reacted with empathy. I think it made them realize that not everything in life has to be school related.

2. How do you feel immediately after your visit to the nursing home? Does it give you energy or tire you out?

If I'm being honest it does tire me out a little only because it's at night and after a long day of work. I do however feel grateful to be there and listen to what the residents have to say.
