Please join us for the annual Friends Across the Ages Holiday Party!  It will be held Sunday, December 3rd from 2:30-4:30pm at North Florida Rehab and Specialty Care (6700 NW 10th Place, Gainesville).  This annual event has become a long standing tradition with our organization.  We will begin with caroling with the residents of NFRSC in the dining room, and then proceed to the conference room for holiday treats, volunteer recognitions, and holiday visiting time with one another.  All volunteers, supporters, friends and family are welcome!

If you are planning to attend, please RSVP to so we can plan to have enough food for everyone!  Directions can be found on our website:  –just scroll down till you see North Florida Rehab and Specialty Care.  We hope to see you there!

Our winter mailer for this year, with our fall/winter edition of our newsletter, The Bridge, was sent out earlier this week.  If you have not received it already, it should be arriving soon.  If you are not on our “snail mail” list, please email us at, and we can still send you a copy.

Among other things, the mailer includes information about a new website for Friends Across the Ages that we will be launching in the new year!  It also contains our annual appeal—our one and only fundraiser of the year.  If you would like to donate online, you can do so here: Or checks made out to “Friends Across the Ages” can be sent to P.O. Box 14698, Gainesville FL, 32604.  Thank you for your continued interest in and support of Friends Across the Ages!
