1. The reading this week was a collection of quotations describing friendship. Based on those quotations, what aspects of a friendship are exhibited in your relationship with the people you visit?

I think a lot of aspects of a friendship mentioned in the quotes can be seen through my relationship with the people we visit. These include: trust, companionship, and understanding.

2. How would you describe friendship in your own words? Has your definition of friendship been affected at all by your friends at the nursing home?

I would describe friendship as a relationship of constant support and love despite differences/disagreements. Since I have volunteered at a nursing home before, my definition of friendship has not changed.
